This post contains affiliate links. Please read my Disclaimer for more info:) Welcome future bloggers! I’m glad you could join us:) So you’re thinking of starting a blog? Well, I think that’s a really great idea. Blogging can be such an amazing way to express yourself, such a great creative outlet. It has given me confidence and validation in my role as a stay at home mom, it’s the perfect “me time”, and the perfect side hustle. But, even though I think it’s a really great idea, I also think you’re probably ridiculously overwhelmed. I know I was. An update on our beautifully mediocre life.

Hello to all of our Beautifully Mediocre friends and followers! I have been slacking, and for that I’m sorry. My mind has been elsewhere and blogging just hasn’t quite fit into our schedule lately. I feel like I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I have been so busy house hunting, spring cleaning, bachelorette party planning, and dog poop scooping… so much dog poop… yay springtime! I’d like to think we are just great parents… but in all honesty, I think they decide when they’re ready;) Now remember, every kid is incredibly different, and I am by no means an expert on potty training, or parenting in general, let’s be real here. What worked for us might be totally and completely useless to you. But after lots of questions,…

    Hearty Veggie Chili

This post contains affiliate links. Please read my Disclaimer for more info: Who doesn’t love a big ole bowl of comfort? Especially one packed with all your veg for the day! Living in the midwest means insanely long and crazy cold winters. When it snows 6… sometimes 7, or maybe even 8 months out of the year, you’ve got no choice but to adapt!  Good snow boots, a resilient state of mind, and warm hearty comfort food.  Anyways, back to chili! Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good meaty chili just as much as the next person, but I promise, you won’t miss it. Inspired by Jamie Oliver’s recipe, I made a few additions and…
