    Banana Bread Using Frozen Bananas

This post contains affiliate links. Please read my Disclaimer for more info:) If you’re anything like me, you always buy too many bananas. It never fails that at least one or two will turn brown over night and then, god forbid, I try to feed them to anyone. Myself, I don’t mind them a little overripe, nice and sweet:) But my family won’t touch them, so into the freezer they normally go! Lucky for us, banana bread using frozen bananas is a little piece of heaven. My grandmother has taught me many things in my almost 30 years, and keeping a crap ton of black bananas in the freezer is definitely one of them<3 I’ve used both brown bananas straight from the fruit bowl, and frozen bananas thawed from the freezer. Mal’s Roasted Butternut Squash Soup

One thing you will learn about me if you stick around long enough, is I frickin love soups. I love making soups and I love eating soups. I can make a mean soup, they are kind of my specialty. He will just have to suck it up;) I am proud to say, however, that he doesn’t complain too much, because even said husband, who “hates squash”, loves this butternut squash soup! I’m killing it at this housewife thing. It’s fine. This soup is creamy, and filling, and super simple to throw together once everything…

    Hearty Veggie Chili

This post contains affiliate links. Please read my Disclaimer for more info: Who doesn’t love a big ole bowl of comfort? Especially one packed with all your veg for the day! Living in the midwest means insanely long and crazy cold winters. When it snows 6… sometimes 7, or maybe even 8 months out of the year, you’ve got no choice but to adapt!  Good snow boots, a resilient state of mind, and warm hearty comfort food.  Anyways, back to chili! Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good meaty chili just as much as the next person, but I promise, you won’t miss it. Inspired by Jamie Oliver’s recipe, I made a few additions and tweaks each time I’ve made it and am now convinced it is the holy grail of veggie chili. I can even get my toddler to take a few bites now and then:)T I like to…
