Yep, you read it right! Our sweet little rainbow baby is due to make their appearance February 4th, 2020, and we could not be more excited<3
If you actually follow the blog you have probably noticed I have been completely MIA all summer. Except for the occasional Instagram post or Facebook story, I haven’t really been keeping anyone in the loop. Between house shopping, house buying, baby growing, and soaking up our summer, I accidentally let myself forget how much I love blogging.
I got swept up in trying to fit in as much as I could each day, and in doing so, I forgot to add in a little me time. But no worries, I found my love for writing again and have blog post drafts coming out of my ears.
Pregnancy after a miscarriage is a strange animal. We are almost at the halfway mark and I just announced it officially. Obviously friends and family have known for awhile, but I’ve been in a strange place with telling the world.
If you haven’t followed our journey you can check that out HERE.
This pregnancy has been completely different from my first. With Everest, everything was very run of the mill. I had basically zero complications and went into labor on my due date at exactly 40 weeks:)
… This one, on the other hand, has been filled to the brim with after hours calls to the doctor, minor infections, spotting, abnormal EKGs, and crippling anxiety.
But all of that aside, this baby is growing strong, and healthy, and perfect<3
And of course, the age old question… What are we hoping for?!
Obviously we are just crossing our fingers and toes for a healthy little baby. But, that being said… a girl would be perfect;)
